ABOUT MICHAEL

Michael Pina is an AI trainer and bilingual educator who helps professionals, small business owners and job seekers put generative AI to work, in English and Spanish. As founder of AI Rocketship, he has designed and delivered more than 100 live training sessions, from public workshops to one-on-one virtual coaching to confidential in-house corporate programs.

FROM THE CLASSROOM TO AI

Michael came to AI training from the classroom, not from the tech world, and that shapes how he works. As an adjunct professor at TALK Schools, he taught business and professional development to international students. He also spent seven years at ACAMS running a learning platform used by professionals around the world. His journalism degree from Florida International University and his MBA in Business Intelligence from DeVry help him turn complex technology into clear, practical lessons people can use the same day.

HOW HE WORKS

That same skill for breaking complex subjects into practical steps makes him exceptionally good at spotting what’s holding a team back. Before recommending any tool or solution, Michael takes time to understand how a business actually works and asks the right questions. That helps him find the bottlenecks, training gaps and missed opportunities. As a result, his clients avoid costly trial and error, adopt AI where it truly helps, and save time and money along the way.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

His work is rooted in the Latino community. He was one of the founders of the Latino AI Summit and led its branding and communications in its first year. Today he co-hosts La Mesa IA, a monthly Spanish-language webcast on LinkedIn and YouTube where Latino leaders share practical AI tools and resources. He is also a selected presenter for SCORE Broward, the SBA-supported small business mentoring program, where he leads bilingual workshops.

INTERNATIONAL NETWORK AND CREATIVE WORK

Michael’s network reaches well beyond South Florida. In his first year leading AI Rocketship, he built relationships with AI educators, content creators and practitioners in New York, California, the United Kingdom, France and Switzerland. Together they form a community of people who deliver AI training, keynotes and systems. These international collaborations keep his work current and give his clients access to ideas and practices from around the world. In 2025, he also produced recording artist Ray Treblo’s first fully AI-generated EDM music video for the Brazilian market. The video went viral in less than a week and passed 200,000 views across YouTube, SoundCloud and other platforms.

PARTNERSHIPS

In 2026, Michael was selected to join the OpenAI Partner Network, which expands the solutions he can offer clients and enterprise teams. He also works with Create Labs, a New York–based OpenAI partner and member of the NVIDIA Inception program. Together they are starting to deliver automation solutions and AI education to businesses and K-12 school systems.
